Fire Station Playdate

Garrett REALLY enjoyed this playdate! Drew was a bit nervous about the fire trucks.. worried that they would put the sirens on.. but he still said fire house before we left our house that morning.. fire truck after the playdate.. and says & wears his fire hat every time he gets in the car! So I am pretty sure Drew liked this playdate as well! After the fire house tour we enjoyed some lunch in the park.. then playtime on the slides! It was a great day!

Its been a few weeks since this playdate, but I wanted to share some pictures from it.. it was a memorable one! The boys & I had a blast!! We are so thankful for Thursdays & the people we share them with!

Drew {Peter Parker}

The other day Garrett was wearing his Spiderman dress up outfit.. he runs upstairs to ask me "hey Mom where are my Peter Park glasses?" I had no idea what he was asking.. after a minute of thinking.. I remembered that we got this build a bear from my nephew when he was born that wore glasses.. when Garrett was 2yrs old he would come into our room in the morning wearing them.. it was pretty funny! So I grabbed them.. gave them to him.. and he ran around with the glasses on calling himself Peter Parker.

So yesterday I had my camera stuff out.. since I was taking Carter's pics.. so I decided to snap a few of Drew.. this is one of them.. I really need to get back to enjoying taking photos of my own kiddos.. that is the reason why I got into photography to begin with.. and I can't forget that!!!!!

Garrett is on the Angels team!

YAY! I love that Garrett's team is the angels for this t-ball season! So much fun watching these guys play! This year.. his team seems a lot more organized.. the boys haven't gotten in crazy doggie piles over the ball yet, but it was just their first game! That might still be coming up in the future! Here are a few of my favorite shots of Garrett playing.

Buzz & Wolverine

Seriously.. LOVE these costumes... Garrett of course picked his costume himself this year.. so I can't just dress him how I want anymore, but Drew is still letting me dress him.. so he gets to be the infamous Buzz Lightyear costume handed down from his big brother, but still these are the two most adorable little action figures ever!

Halloween Paparazzi Party

Since I have known Isabel she has hosted a Halloween Party for the Mamas & Kiddos every year.. this year we decided to put a spin on it.. and call it Halloween Paparazzi Party.. what a perfect excuse to bust out our backgrounds & cameras.. to take pictures of the kiddos in costume.. what a fun day.. and look at all these cuties!!!!!! These are just a few of my favorite shots.. my boys will be coming soon! I wanted to show these off first.. their Mom's have been waiting to see them!

16 more pounds to go...

I am thrilled.. 16 more pounds to go before I am at my goal weight.. I think I might push it 10 more pounds after that.. we shall see, but I am so excited that I am finally almost there.. this picture for me is a total breakthrough I feel like wow.. I am happy in my own skin now.. its been over 4yrs since I have even come close to this weight.. words cannot express my joy in myself for finally becoming me again.. its a lot of hard work.. I have to say no to a lot of my favorite things.. like goldfish.. Coldstone of Friday night with the hubby.. snacking on something sweet after dinner.. fries.. but I will tell you.. I don't miss it.. now that I can see myself in a photo.. and be 100% happy with it!!!!!

Disneyland

Since Mark will be having his 2nd surgery on Monday we decided to go to Disneyland a few times last week as a family.. we had so much fun... the kids loved it!!! Drew's face was priceless on Its A Small World.. he loved it!!!! I am so glad we got to have that time before Mark is down for the count again for a few months!

Jackson {2yrs old}

I can just see it now.. Drew & Jackson in highschool.. playing football.. walking through the halls.. making the ladies' hearts stop.. how adorable is this kid!!!!!!!
