Holy Jim Fun

Last weekend Mark only had 1 day off.. and that day was a beautiful one!!! The boys really wanted to go grab some ice cream with their Dad.. so off they went.. when they came back they decided to pick me up for some exploring in our local canyon area... at first we were going to just go close by at O'Neil Park to throw some rocks in the creek, but due to the recent weather here it was closed.. so we decided to head on over to Holy Jim.. it was packed with Jeeps, trucks and mtn bikers... which the boys loved!!! It was a lot of fun the creek wasn't that high.. so we could climb over on rocks to the next rock bed.. before finding another little stream.. perfect for the kids! After about 1 hr of that.. we decided to take the Escape for a bit of a off road adventure.. man that is fun!!! {Totally took me back to when I was a kid up in the mountains exploring for hours then climbing into the Jeep for an off road adventure}.. this is just the beginning to a lot more adventures with the kids!!
