Drew's Update

Well I was right Drew is delayed.. so we will be contacted by a speech therapist and will be doing therapy twice a week for a half hour.. I am thrilled.. I want to hear his little voice so bad.. and I am another step closer to that! I also want Drew to be up to par with the rest of the kids in Kindergarden.. so its better to get this taken care of now!

Cognitive/Play: Drew is at a 19 mos range; only delayed by 14%

Receptive Language: Drew is at a 9-12 mos range emerging into a 12-15 mos range; 45-59% delayed

Expressive Language: 9-12 mos range emerging into a 12-15 mos range; 45-59% delayed

Social/Emotional: 19 mos; 14% delayed

So for the next 6 mos we will be doing that.. then hopefully he will be up to speed.. I don't have any doubt in my mind that he will respond well to this therapy.. the Speech Pathologist also recommend that I took a behavior class.. mainly dealing with the 2nd child and his behaviors.. so that will be for 5wks once a week.
