Memorial Day Fun..

Memorial Day fun with the Lee Family.. I had to work that morning {thank goodness I am done with that brief moment of insanity!}, but the boys were just hanging out.. the neighbors were nice enough to invite them over for a swim.. the kids had a blast!!!

Angels

Drew's baseball season is over.. sad day!!! He loved baseball so much.. it was great to see him play! He made some great friendships during the season.. it was a joy to see Drew grow a love for this sport.. and we look forward to future baseball!

Drew's 6th Bday

So the original plan was to have a little surprise birthday for Drew {he has been asking for one} on his birthday, but come to find out Garrett had his last baseball game on that day, plus his end of the year party that night.  We just kept hitting roadblocks for his birthday.. Sat Mark works.. Sun I work {well not anymore, but thats a whole other story for a different day, but this day I did}.. poor Drew was just being over shadowed by big brother and the busy'ness of daily life around here.. So Mark and I decided last minute to have a party for him.. like a planned party for him.. Drew got to invite his friends.. and viola.. they all made it!!! YAY!!!! We are so lucky to have awesome families close by that made themselves available to celebrate Drew.. it was great!






This face meant we pulled it off.. and my middle child didn't feel slated on his 6th birthday.. whew Mark and I were happy to see him so excited!!!

Reading Academic Award

So yesterday Garrett had no baseball and no homework for the night.. and he begged me to go to the library.. not sure who he belongs to.. cause um Mark and I aren't huge readers, but I was all about taking him.. he was excited to pick a chapter book above his reading level.

Today we were invited by his teacher to watch him receive an award.. I thought nice kid.. always willing to help friends.. but Reading Academic Award.. SAY WHAT!??!?!?! Pretty proud of my kid!!!!
